Lomax went on to say, “Colored gemstones in engagement rings are gaining popularity because people want rings that reflect their personal style and connection with their partner. This ring features approximately a 2-carat oval padparadscha sapphire with around 1.5 carats of pear-shaped diamonds in the cluster, all set on a yellow gold band. It’s truly a masterpiece.”

On January 22, Eugenie and Jack, who previously worked as the manager of Mayfair nightclub Mahiki in London, made their royal engagement official. The announcement came via a statement from the royal family: “The Duke and Duchess of York are delighted to announce the engagement of Princess Eugenie to Mr. Jack Brooksbank. Their engagement took place in Nicaragua earlier this month. The wedding will happen in the Autumn of 2018 at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, with further details to be announced as we get closer to the date.”
