Here's a fun little story about the future of the British monarchy. Little Prince George, who's destined to wear the crown one day, seems to have a different dream in mind. According to his dad, Prince William, the lively four-year-old would rather chase bad guys in a police car than sit on the throne. On March 13, William, 35, attended The Met Excellence Awards at London’s Kensington Palace, where he chatted with public servants, including Police Cadet Jayne Richardson.
During their conversation, Richardson playfully mentioned to William that the Kensington and Chelsea police district is on the lookout for more volunteers. "We are recruiting, actually, so if Prince George and Princess Charlotte are keen?" she asked, according to People. William chuckled and replied, "[George] is obsessed, actually, by the police… cars, toys, everything." Isn't that adorable? It’s clear that the young prince has a soft spot for our brave officers.
Prince George's Fascination with the Police Force
This isn’t the first time William has revealed his son's fascination with the police. Back in late November 2017, during a visit to Helsinki, Finland, the proud dad hand-delivered George’s Christmas list to Santa Claus. Guess what was on it? You guessed it — a police car! William has also mentioned that George enjoys building with Legos, loves watching "The Lion King," and his favorite TV show is "Fireman Sam." As for little Princess Charlotte, who's two, she’s all about playing tennis, collecting teddy bears, playing with Disney princess toys, and is absolutely "obsessed" with her school’s art class. Sounds like they’re just like any other kids, doesn’t it?

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have shared a heartwarming new family photo. This image graces their Christmas card this year, featuring the happy family at Kensington Palace. Captured earlier this year by @chrisjacksongetty, it was announced that Princess Charlotte will start attending the Willcocks Nursery School in London from January 2018. The school expressed their delight: "We are thrilled that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen the Willcocks Nursery School for Princess Charlotte. We can't wait to welcome Charlotte to our nursery in January."
